This is the home page for Bryncadno.com Welsh Cobs, bred here in Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire.

Jane started breeding Cobs seriously in 1993 with four foundation mares, two from Derwen, and two from Lodor. We produce outstanding foals from a limited selection of Stallions - with temperament and action being dominant selection criteria in addition to the normal conformation requirements. We currently have 15 Section D Cobs on the farm, and 2 partbreds, with 3 foals in 2009.

Our important successes so far have been:

firstly, winning best Section D yearling at The Royal Show at Stoneleigh in 2002 with Bryncadno Arwr;

Secondly winning the Mrs. C.M.E.P. Jenkin Memorial Cup for the best ridden Section D Cob two years in succession at the Pembrokeshire County Show with Bryncadno Bronwen in 2004 and 2005 - in 2006 we came second! She is now training for dressage in Cardiff.

Thirdly - by proxy! - successes by Arwr in England, and by Zorro in the CZ Republic. Both standing as stallions now.
